week 2 Saturday

Well the dress in 90% done and that all I'm going to do at this point for it. An tell it about 2 month  to a week  before the con or a even for me to wear it.

Here the way it looks now.

 

 

Next week I'm going to start work in Goku patches. The one for the back and the fount one as well. I will also do random sewing projects. Like thing for my esty shop or just thing I have been working on. I have stared to love sewing a lot more lately and I love seeing what I can do.


So here is my first random projects.

 

It is a pillow and it all most done I just have been learn that sewing a pillow is harder  then I though the first 2 lines were easy but that last line with stuffing. I think I'm just going to have to do it by hand. oh well. 

week 2 Firday

I have been working on my Lolita head bands  for my esty today and have a few different styles in the mix right now. I have the fabric cut for orange, blue, baby pink, and a black and white with hearts. But they still need to be sewn together lace and ribbons added. To make them look lovely and ready to be worn by a sweet Lolita. 

But right now all I have done is white with pink roses old lace.

This week end I will try to finish out my dress for the most part and work on more of the headbands.  

week 2 Wensday

I have been working on an off with sewing for the past two days. It about 50% it need to be taken in, Hem need to be done, and on the skirt has another layer of fabric to add to it. I'm liking how it turning out.

What I'm working on right now is Rinoa's formal dress.
I have all the fabric, the patten and anything else I need for that.

Sunday Night
So far this week
The first half fabric is cut and the elastic is ready. So now to the sewing.

Sorry no photos but all it look like now is just a smaller piece  of fabric.

week one on squall

Squall Normal wear is done I Just want to add some other stuff to it even better. Once I have photos of it I will post.

Squall formal wear. Well I have the cuffs for the jacket  are done.

 

I have also found the perfect fabric for a part of the jacket.

 

I also have hook and eye to hold the jacket closed.

This one in not even close to this one really being started but I still have time.

week one Progress Mag

I have gotten her pins down for her straps on her dress.

 

It took about 30 minutes  to shape them and 15 minutes to bake them. Waited to them to cool for  about an hour and then painted them.

I all so was also was able to sew her under breast belt and hip belt but there not done so I will post more on that later.

 

It looks bad now but it will look better later. When I have it on my dress dummy and have it with the straps and the pins. and the later with in the full dress. But then it a work in progress.

I have finished her shall. I was all hand sew and took about 4 hours to sew.it but it was fun so. I will look better when seen with a formal dress or a cosplay. But here the photo.

 

For her wig, most of her dress and shoes. I still don't have anything but that time.

I have that pattern for it and that is it. For both the pants and the shirt. I just need to make a few changes when making it.

Well is a work in the coming weeks it will be taking shape.

I have made that patches for the wings on the sweater.

luna part 2

 I made the necklace, bracelet, and anklet in about 3 hours on afternoon. I had help making the moon from my mom. I baked the clay, panted it and beaded it all. I was a fun prop that I think really made the look.

Luna from Sallor moon part 1

 I did Luna human form. I made the dress over about 3 weeks if had took the time for about 3 days I could have done it more quickly. I loved doing this character because she is head strong and fun to be.

The dress is made of 3 yards of yellow cotton cost about $12. A yard of black sparkly black tulle $3. 2 rolls of yellow ribbon that trims and hems the skirt and is the straps.

The wig was the first wig I ever style and was really hard to style. I got the wig cheep off ebay for $10 and it work better then I hoped or even though. To start with it is long and curly.  I have to sew the buns in to place and spray it with a lot of hair spray peal pins and bobby pins. And hot glued the white flowers on.
 
Yes I did change it from what it was in length but it still look great.

 

                                     

Lolita maid

 I did not make the dress of the  but I did style the apron. Adding the lace the pink ribbon and the heart was all  hand sew. I loved wearing this and it was so much fun being a Lolita made for the day. So for my first time it was good an simple.
