goal for 9/21 - 9/28

Well I need to work harder on my stuff but I getting back in the grove with cosplays.

I have all ready cut out the pattens and I'm so sorry that I have been working on the Goku patches for ever it is all hand work and it cool to see it done but it is boring as hell doing it. The book for persona will not be seen an tell it is done because it is a 2 word document on my computer and it about 2-6% done right now and it a long proget I have been putting off. As for my Elizabeth dress I just anger at the collor so it has been put back so I can just breath work on something else and go back to it later. 

Goku

Goku wig ready to start. I was told that school glue wound work about as well as hair glue by some on who had used it before so I hope for the best. The worst thing at could happen is that I have to buy another wig because I have never styled a wig before but I think as long as I take me time and study photos of Goku and don't panic I should be fine.


Goku back patche is still in the works but hope to finish it soon.

After about 3-  4 hours of work

The front patch is done happy dance. I like how it came out. Now to find my white floss to work on the back patch now. One down one to go. Woooo!

I still have to do all the white around it because I made a bad chose in using a light yellow fabric in stead of white.

I'm going to finish the patches that I have been working on forever.
I plan to start the long process of styling the wig for the cosplay.

Elizabeth
I'm going to try to finish the main  part of the dress with the collar and arm holes done.
And work on her prop which will take some time to make.

Saterday work blog week 1

Madem red

The dress was not made by me it was made by MineralCreekDesigns.

 

I love this dress and had a blast wearing it. I can't wait to wear it to Nak Kon next March. She did a great job making it and if you ask I'm doing a flapper Madam Red from the 1920's.

I did style the wig and might do some work on it later but it worked well the day I wore it. 

Elizabeth from Person 3 

I still have a lot of work to do this on this but I have the main dress as you can see about 70% done. I still need to do the collar and trim the arm holes. I think I might need to take up the skirt up about 3 to 6 inches because I think it over the knee but I will look at her again before I change it. I also need to add the buttons and black trim.

The white fake fur trim I have need to get for it so now I get to hand sew it on to the jacket. Ya!

Formal wear

Some sparkle stuff. That I will add for a fun finnel touch.



Minny mouse 

 This fabric is a blush pink not a light purple.

I can't wait to start making this dress and really love the fabric I got. When a saw it a Joann's I just knew it was for Minny.  My brother oldest daughter Loves Minny and I just can't wait to see her face when it is done I really hope she loves it as much as I will.

Hippy Rag doll 

I had a lot of fun finding the fabric. As for the patten I had told my mom if I could use this pattern I wound. Then my brother call about 2 weeks later asking if I wound make Halloween costumes for the girls and I just knew that if I was able to have my way with one of the costumes I wound use this pattern. 

The funny thing she was to be steam punk doll but then the fabric changed it all. But some time when you don't have a plan then just go with something that jumps out at you. As of right now I love it so.

new stuff I'm going to be working on

I am going to be making 3 costumes one for friend of my bothers daughter and two for my brother's two little girls.

1. Elsa for a 4 or 5 year old 

This is one that I really did not want to make this year because every young girl want to be Elsa. I need to get everything for it. Right now all I have is glitter.

2. Minny mouse 3 year old

 

This one is going to be fun to make and I really can't what to make it.  I have everything I need for the dress and it patten. I think I will start this one soon.

 3. well it a hippy rag doll  for 1 year old 

Sorry I don't have a concept photo but I think it will be vary cute none the less. I have everything I need to it as well

She still need to make a chose on color and print because an tell then I can't get fabric to do it. I have the pattern at lest and it was a bitch to get because the first one got lost in the mail and now because I ordered it from another seller and the first seller mailed another one I now have two. Also still looking for the right tie.

I have the patter and have been working on the patches still need to the fabric but hope to find it soon. I have the wig and plan to start styling it soon and I know that it will be a hard to do but I hope for the best.

I just need to sew the fur to the collar and it will be done and fix the gun blade. So it is almost done so when we can take photos we will.

I need to get the bace fabric for this. and the boots. I have done vary little to this piece but and hope to start it in January.

I have the patches for the back done and the tank to ready. My sister in law is making me the vest and arm warmers. So it still a work in progress. 

 Elizabeth persona 3 

Her dress is in the works I will be posting photo of it soon. I not done but I hope to have the dress almost done by the end of next week. I'm working on the book in her hand as well but it a slow work hope to make a lot of head way in October  I have the gloves and need to get a patten for the hat and find or make the boots. 

Madam Red 

Her dress is done and I have styled her wig. I did not make her dress my cousin did and she did a great job. I will cosplayed as her for a school thing and the photos will be up soon I hope.


Sleeping beauty

 

I have been working on this one for over a year and I going to dress as her for Halloween. I made the skirt, my cousin made the corset, and back in march I got the wig and other thing I need to do this so when I get photo of me in it I will post. 

Magera 

I have the pin and the belts done I need to get the fabric for the dress. Hoping to do that in November or December. So she need a lot of work but I still have time.

I have finished the patches well mostly I will be adding something to make it have more sliver or gold shine to it but that will be added latter.

week 6 Sunday Sorry about last week

I have been making great progress on my Goku patch all I have to is to finish the white and cut it out and interface it to make it a patch. I should take me about 5 to 7 more hours to finnsh it up.
Here what I have done so fair.

I have also draw out the patch for Goku out fit in the front. It the same thing just 1/4 of the size or so.

The bunny in teacups has been drawing out read to be stared. Once I'm ready to start it. I still don't know what colors I'm going to use but to should be fun.

This might be something really stupied in your mind but for me I think is cool. I was able to use but a full thing of thread.   It took me over one year to do it.  Color was black.

Thursday week 4

Squall Cosplay
I almost have the two patch thing that go on the collar done. More small detail done but in some case it the small stuff that you need to do the most work.  One is done and the other is just stared it but together it should take me about an hour and a half to sew them both by hand. If you do want to do a cosplay patch like this I wound say it by hand because there really small and a vary skilled hand with a machine it wound be really hard. I wound not want to try. 

 

Goku patch up date another 3 hours of work it about 30% done now. I'm about half done with the black and about 5% done of the white. There is still a lot of work to do on it but I looking better then it was looking over now. 

 

Wensday week 4

Well I when shopping and go some stuff for.

Squall formal wear

Sorry nothing big like the fabric of the coat or pants.
I might work on the over the jacket shoulder covers. I have most of the stuff for that I have the chain stuff it make the chain with some wear and I think fabric for it as well. So I might if I'm lucky have some cosplay stuff this month after all but we will see.

 I might of the fabric for the shirt but I don't know yet I am going to check that soon because if i do then less for me to have to buy.

If I have the fabric for the shirt and a whole patten because the one I have is used I will try to get working on that. Also I don't have a dress dummy for my boyfriend because as you have seen I'm a big girl and well he well a stick. So if I make it will have to be pined to him and well he might not be to happy with that but we will see. I do plan getting a dress dummy in his size but money this month sucks so we will see.

I don't want to spread my self to thin so one thing at a time so. I the coming days and weeks we will see what I get done.

Wooo! I just happy to be finding stuff I can do for both my craft to get it better and for cosplay I have planed to make.

week 4 Tuesday

I have been finding new things to do. This mouth with be more of me working on my craft then me doing cosplay.

I'm going to try an finish my Goku patch. I work on it a lot last week but I go stressed with it and didn't get it done. soon. It looks bad because I traced it wrong so I had to change it a little so that why I had so many problems.

.

I also plan on doing random progets this month of embroidered pillows so that I can do it better and faster. I really want to get a lot better.

     I was lucky to get both of these for free but a lot of the pattens on this site are really go price. from I think $1-$7. I don't know the people who own the web site I just like their pattens because there fun and stuff I like. Also the price is different if you do hand or machine. 

I'm going to finish up Mag's belts, hair band, and stapes and hope to get the stuff for her dress soon but for me this month money was a bit tight.


 This is my work on the hair band so fair. It had to work on because I sew it together so now I have to go though two layers of leather to sew the beads on but I like it.

This is my first ever project I did for embroidery and I put it off for over about 9 month now. I need to re look up the patten. 

I was working on a cosplay of Romeo from Romeo x Juliet . But I don't plan on doing for long time but I really would like to get it done anyway because then I can say that I got my first ever project done. 

That what I going to try to do this mouth as well as other stuff I can. Wish me luck.
